Kristian Vågsnes

Kristian Vågsnes was born in Oslo, but moved with his family to Arendal when he was 3 years old. He has a very varied musical background, and started his musical career as a 7-year-old in a children's choir. At the age of 10 he started playing the tuba in a corps, where he later, as a 17-year-old, became a tuba instructor. As a 21-year-old, he was a tuba player in Gardemusikken, at the same time as he played bass in Gardens Storband. He has also had 7 years as a choir conductor for a Tensing choir.

Kristian is also a co-owner of CB Studio, which is a very popular music studio for musicians in Sørlandet. He has also participated in a large number of record productions with many different artists. And, he has studied at the Norwegian Sound School

Kristian is one of the members of the band with the broadest genre experience (together with drummer Christian A. Seneger). He has played everything from jazz, 60s-70s rock, country, pop, blues and musical theater. He has contributed his eminent bass playing to a number of artists. To mention a few: Bobby Bare, Keith Austin, Arne Benoni, Lillian Askeland, Rune Rudberg, G-Thomas, Big-B, Clutterbillies, Tore Andersen, Major Trouble etc.
