Kim Roger Larsen

Kim Roger Larsen was born and raised in Kristiansand, Norway. He started playing keyboards already when he was 6 years old.

In his youth he played a lot in gospel choirs and in various pop / funk bands. He began his active musician career when he was 20 years old. Since then, he has played for many well-known and unknown artists from Norway and abroad in many different genres. He grew up with parents who listened a lot to country, but only in the mid-90s did he really open his eyes to the genre. There was one artist in particular who did this and that was Vince Gill. Kim is a true Vince Gill fan and has been fortunate to meet him in person.

Kim has contributed with Piano / Hammond / Rhodes on many music productions over the years.

Kim's mother claims that Kim is one of the nicest people she knows. Good luck to him.

Kim has played with artists such as: Hanne Sørvaag, Siri Vølstad Jensen, Steff Nevers, Casino Steel, Billy Yates, Bobby Bare, Inger Lise Stulien, Elg, Kine Hellebust, Alejandro Fuentes, Benny Borg, Ottar Bighand, Steffen Jakobsen, G-Thomas , Big-B, Ove Støylen, Arly Karlsen, Christiansand Blues Band, etc. He has also participated in a large number of record productions, playing piano/Hammond/Rhodes.

Kim is an active songwriter and has written songs for artists such as Big-B and Inger Lise Stulien. He is also currently involved in a project as a songwriter for Venke Knutson. Kim has an extensive collaboration with musicians from the United States, specifically Nashville.
